Once upon a dream

Upon a misty darkened night

I reach out for your warm embrace

to rid my soul of its eternal winter.

It's there that my heart is longing.

It burns beyond time.

It burns despite the cruel breath of the winter wind.

It burns though the world around it.

Is slowly driven into shadows.

I am once more in that darkness, looking for that same light.

Searching through your star, you're coming dawn

In a world of contradiction and pain,

I search my soul for the answers

I yearn to find and see only emptiness.

I cling to the heavens for hope -

a single light in this shadows world.
