Crime Of Passion

Crime of Passion

You’re the one I want—

the one who imprisons me in my dreams,
the one I wait for through every hour of darkness.

Those sweet, perfect lips
make me feel at ease.
Each night, I close my eyes and wonder how you feel—
curious how far we’ll go.

I feel your lips on mine,
caressing me as if I were fragile,
while I try to control the storm of my emotion.

Entrapped in what pain is,
our eyes connect—
and your kiss washes away my regrets.
This feeling inside, I can’t escape,
the farther you stay, the deeper it aches.

Your hands run through my hair,
touching, exploring
parts of me you’ve never known.

Lips locked and tongues entwined—
oh, how long it’s been since our last encounter.
My time of needing, wanting, waiting to feel you is over.

You are the one I covet,
the ghost in my slumber,
the one who holds me—
and lets me be
his crime of passion.
